Reintroducing Celine & Company Catering and The Hideaway
Since 1993, Celine and Company has been the leader in serving Asheville’s finest catering cuisine. In 2004 we acquired our elegant downtown event space and relocated our commercial kitchen to the Broadway Arts Building. We have loved every moment of helping friends, neighbors and community leaders celebrate some of life’s biggest milestones and can’t wait to see what the next 20+ years bring.
To that end, in 2021 we had another exciting milestone occur. We discovered the perfect name for our event space. Someone once said that words have meaning and names have power – we believe this to be true. We needed a name that communicated our deep love for the rich history of our community and building as well as our dynamic ability to serve Asheville’s growing food and beverage scene. The name that we chose that embraces all of that is The Hideaway.
Together, The Hideaway and Celine & Company offer even more ways we can help turn your once-in-a-lifetime event dreams into a reality. Today we thought we’d share a little more about how this innovative fusion of 5-star cuisine and a vintage urban venue could be the answer to all your celebration needs.
Our Event Venue – The Hideaway
Rich with local flavor and elegant design, this beautiful building holds nearly 100 years of Asheville history. For all you Asheville history buffs – a few fun facts about The Hideaway:
- Since its construction in 1928, the historic Broadway Arts Building (where our Hideaway resides) has remained a constant in the downtown landscape. At one point in its past, the second level used to host a church and the lower level had been the prominent performance art space known as The Green Door.
- Our 6,000 square feet are dressed head-to-toe in our community’s architectural heritage including hardwood floors and original tin ceilings
- Located in a National Registered Historic building, Celine and Company’s Hideaway is one of Asheville’s most unique event venues.
We are proud to offer our clients this gorgeous event space at The Hideaway. Seeking a traditional, unique, elegant or extravagant celebration? This is your venue. We can comfortably accommodate up to 200 seated guests and up to 275 guests for a cocktail-style reception.
